Betrayal is the venom of the conspirators that kills Caesar without any warning. Betrayal is like a menacing rain cloud that hovers over Caesar waiting to explode. Betrayal Poem

The first stanza of the poem of “True Colors” written by Bryan P. Mix, is about life-changing events caused by betrayal. Mix describes a feeling of grief with the lines “feel the intruding lead that hangs my head in pain,” which uses “intruding lead” as a metaphor to convey the strong emotion to the reader. In the second stanza, Mix explains how betrayal affects people negatively even when they were not involved in the act. This relates to Mark Antony and the fact that he was not at the scene of Caesar’s death but was still strongly affected by it and his life was changed by it. Later in the poem, Mix talks about how a traitor may act normal yet again around his or her friends, but they “can never conceal the true colors I saw.” Cassius and Brutus both were friendly to Mark Antony after assassinating Caesar, but Antony reacted parallel to the poem. Betrayal Song (Eminem)

Betrayal can be found in many things, from music to plays which is what I will be comparing. In Eminems' song "Cleanin out my Closet" he talks about how he needed his mom throughout his life. But, she was never there for hin and never really wanted him. Eminem feels that he has been betrayed by his mom. How could someone who is so close to you, betray you??

I can relate this to Caesar because Caesar starts to loose a close friend Brutus. Eminem and Caesar both will feel the same emotion of betrayal by someone close. As Eminem grew stronger in the business of music, tours and record deals his mom pushed him even farther away shown by these lyrics " remember when Ronnie died and you wished it was me, well guess what, I am dead, dead to you as can be." As Caesar starts to get more powerful more people were persuading Brutus to bring Caesar down and betray him. Even though they had a close relationship.

Brutus is betrayed by Cassius, he seems to like him to his face but as soon as he he's away from Brutus he begins to talk bad about him.
Epilepsy, Cassius was telling all of Caesar's secret weaknesses, making him look unworthy of being king.
Time will tell how Betrayal will become a dominant part of this play.
Royalty and power that Caesar has, makes Cassius go form being one of his close, life saving friends to an enemy trying to sway everyones views.
